ISIS Information Design
ドイツの新聞、Süddeutsche Zeitung（DE）のためにデザインされた、シリアとイラクにおける、アメリカの対ISIS軍事介入による物的損害を可視化したグラフィック。2014年8〜12月のアメリカの軍事作戦に関するデータを、公式資料から収集して作られました。従来の軍のあり方とは異なる、草の根的なISISの活動の特徴を伝えるため、損害物を少しずつ角度を変えて描き、全体として非中央集権的な編成が感じられるようにしました。
This visualization illustrates the material damages caused by the US military intervention against ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Data on military operations during the last five months of 2014 were obtained from official US sources. To convey the sense of ISIS's unconventional military tactics, the damaged materials are depicted from a unique angle, creating a visual representation of their disorganized formation." Published by Süddeutsche Zeitung in January 2015.
